RBI board discusses crypto, central bank digital currency
Mumbai The central board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday bandied colorful aspects related to the central bank digital currency and private cryptocurrencies, it said in a statement The 592nd meeting of the central board of directors, held at Lucknow, was chaired by governor Shaktikanta Das.

Deputy governors Mahesh Kumar Jain, Michael Debabrata Patra,M. Rajeshwar Rao,T. Rabi Sankar and other directors of the central board – SatishK. Marathe,S. Gurumurthy, Revathy Iyer and Sachin Chaturvedi attended the meeting. It added that Debasish Panda, clerk, department of fiscal services also attended the meeting.
